Orhan Pamuk and other authors urge Security Council to condemn Syria

Seven well-known authors, including Salman Rushdie and Umberto Eco, have sent a letter to the United Nations Security Council urging it to adopt a resolution condemning Syria for a crackdown on its citizens, TodaysZaman reports.

The letter, published on Wednesday on the website of French intellectual and writer Bernard-Henri Levy, is also signed by David Grossman, Amos Oz, Orhan Pamuk and Wole Soyinka.
