Republican candidate always wins on the November 6th elections

When the U.S. Presidential election is held on November 6th the Republican candidate always wins. In 1860, the first year the presidential election fell on November 6th, Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, was elected to office. The next time the election was held on the 6th of November, Benjamin Harrison, also Republican, won. On November 6th, 1900, Republican William McKinley defeated William Jennings Bryan. In 1928, Herbert Hoover, a Republican, won on the 6th. In 1956, on November 6th, Dwight D. Eisenhower defeated Democrat Adlai Stevenson to be re-elected. And Republican incumbent Ronald Reagan defeated Democrat Walter Mondale on November 6, 1984.
